A body, movement and mindfulness-based approach integrates a client’s physical body into the therapy process.  Attuning to the present moment and practicing mindful attending to thoughts, breath, sensations, emotions and movement patterns within the therapeutic milieu can support you in developing  trust in your body/mind as you learn to observe your experience without judgment or reactivity. By increasing present moment awareness  you can gain insight into long-held patterns of thought, emotion, mind and behavior. The awareness and understanding gained in this process can help you to experience a deep, inner sense of knowing, reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, implement healthier decisions, feel grounded and confident, set clear boundaries in relationships, and feel increasingly more connected to yourself and others. All that is required of you is commitment, receptivity and participation.

A body, movement and mindfulness-based approach is appropriate in addressing a wide range of concerns and can be used with individuals, couples, families and groups.
